Buddha's dance

back to home pdf share

As the great Buddha danced, the knot of his necklace unraveled and the precious pearls fell into the infinite vastness of the Universe.

They became the moon, sun, earth and all the planets. In the rhythm of his dance, they moved in their tracks.

When the great Buddha finished his dance, he noticed the loss of his pearls.

He slipped the string of his necklace into the infinity of space and so he collected his pearls: moon, sun, earth and all the planets.
He returned them to their order on the string.

When the great Buddha had put all the pearls back in place, he renewed the knot.

The dance was over and there was a time of silence.
